Burger & Lobster's iconic lobster roll has seen many variations over the decade. For International Women's Day 2023, we released a Japanese-inspired take on the cult classic for the first time ever.
In collaboration with the duo behind the podcast 'I’ll Have What She’s Having' Sophie Wyburd and Hannah Crosbie for an all-female collaboration.
The limited-edition lobster roll, served with fries, was available exclusively at all nine Burger & Lobster London restaurants from Wednesday 8th March to Monday 10th April 2023. The price for the lobster roll was £27 and £35 for the wine and lobster roll.
Lobster Katsu Curry Roll
Katsu curry is slowly becoming one of Britains most-loved curries on the high streets and what better way to celebrate that by elevating it into one of Burger & Lobster's signature lobster rolls and creating a one-of-a-kind dish.
The dish will feature a toasted brioche roll, crispy panko lobster meat dressed with a sweet curry sauce, ginger, and Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise. The aromatic masterpiece will be garnished with pink pickled ginger, spring onions and black sesame seeds, served with a side of golden crisp fries and a creamy curry mayo.
To compliment the dish, Hannah Crosbie has chosen an (optional) glass of floral and fresh white wine courtesy of one of Spain’s top female winemakers, Katian Alvarez of Galician winery Martín Códax to really tickle your tastebuds.
